The International Federation: The mission of this organization is to promote pigeon breeding, training, racing and exhibition, to Instruct and assist novices, organize districts or clubs and impart info. to promote the sport perfecting through organization a closer association of pigeon fanciers for their protection and For the development of good fellowship throughout the globe among them. Furthermore, this organization is dedicated to the humane treatment of the animals around which we have formed a common bond. The primary objectives of the I.F. are: A)
To plan and execute programs designed to advance the B) To maintain a policy of Home Rule. C) To
form local affiliates (Clubs, Combines, Concourses, D) To issue and sell an official, registered leg band. E) To encourage national, state, and local legislation which may be beneficial to the sport, the IF, and its members, and to provide as much legal aid to its members as possible. It's Easy As This.... All You Need Is Five or more fanciers to make application for an IF charter. All applications must be accompanied by $15.00 for each member to cover dues for one year and be sent to the Secretary-Treasurer on a form furnished by the IF. A) Any
pigeon fancier of good repute is eligible for membership B) Any person who is not a member of a local affiliate may be an individual member. An application for individual membership must be accompanied by the written recommendation of two active members of the IF. Individual members can compete for any IF award C) Any person who is 17 years of age or younger may join the IF as a Junior Member. D)
Affiliated membership may be obtained by being a member of any of the
IF's local affiliates. |
